The Kid "Tim"

This happened about 2 weeks ago, it was a friday night and i get a call from my friend Tim asking if i wanted to go to a friends house party. So i told him i would drive us because i didn't want to drink tonight. So two more people grabbed a ride with me, my girlfriend and our other buddy Kev. So off we go to the party around 8 pm and its pretty packed. I had bad feeling when we walked up to a loud house, put we went in. An hour passed and the party is still packed, i try to look and find friends because im not drunk and driving their asses home so i wanted to check up real fast.  My girl didnt drink she is with me, i see kev and he looks ok, not too drunk. Now im looking for Tim for a few minutes finally i here him screaming and being roudy. My girl whispered in my ear if i could drop her home real fast so i told the guys im runnin out for a bit, Kev runs up and he wants to come along so why not.

We start the drive and after 10 min i get a call from this kid jake saying I gotta jet and get back here because Tim was wasted and so drunk he was being loud and bothering everyone. So i drove a bit fast and here we go, finally back. Me and Kev get out we parked a few houses down, ofcourse walking our way infront of us are two cops. We walk up driveway and they walk behind, so ofcourse, " Wait up guys lets have a talk."

" What you guys doing here"
"Oh officer just here t pick up our friend"
" Whats his name?"
" Tim, sir "
"of lets get your names and numbers and you can go get your friends."
So we had to give them up so we did. At same time kids saw cops outside and they all hid, but what the dumbasses dont no is that the cops have seen them and are flashing the flashlight at the windows at kids saying," We see you guys, hahaha "
he told us to go head and leave so we did.
Cop goes in and they aske out loud who in here is under 18 ? And of course blacked out tim raises his hand as he is stumbling around. Cop asked for ID so tim pulls his wallet out and gives him his 19 year old ID with full confidence. The Cops see Tim and start laughing in his face.

My phone ring!!
"Hello"
" come back and get your friend Tim NOW!!"
"ok sir"

we pull up and get out, what do we see? The cops holding Tim up because he cant walk and they are laughing.
"Get his ass home and in bed, thanks"
" thank you so much officer, have a good night"

It took him home and got him into bed, he didnt throw up atleast, till the morning hahahaha.
It was a close call and a long night, but we found TIM!!!

College Life

The day starts early and 4 college kids wake up, nothing to do that day so  they start the day early by getting the munchies and piggin out for a few hours. They were bored at there house because they have all been playing xbox NBA 2K11 and it is the most addicting game ever. Then they all decide to try to organize a game of basketball at their school, Chesnut Hill College. So they call their boys up, after a million calls because every kid is a lazy piece of shit, finally they found another 4 to come play. So they sleep for a few more hours till 6:30 pm came around and they got up to get dressed for basketball. So they start driving and on the way they decide to stop, Guess for what? the dam munchies again. Whats new the 4 lazy college kids are hungry again so why not stop at McDonalds.

They pull in to the drive through
       "hello can i take your order"
       " yea hold up"
After about 10 minutes of the four retards who are a tad slow at the time, they finally order.
       " um ill take a McDouble, ahhhhhhhh chicken sandwich, the one on the dollar menu, actually make that 10 Mcdoubles and 4 chicken all from the dollar menu. Oh wait and ill take 4 fries, one's for a dollar, and couple apple pies if you can, thanks"

Now thats a freakin order from a car full of kids with the dam munchies.

So they proceed to the ball court where there meeting the other kids to play a pick up game. Its only about 4 blocks away and they managed to eat everything they had ordered. The got to the court licking there fingers and ready to play. The other kids are on the court getting ready, so lets get going.

The game starts, well call the kids we are fallowing team 1 and others 2, lets try to call this one a game. They shoot for first and start to play, about 3 min in most of the players are hufffin and puffin and holding on to some sore body part, this game lasted 20 min and 2 or 3 kids managed to get hurt too.

All that long day of planning and prep and these kids played 23 min of bball, then went home and chilled out once again, this is college!!!

Customers at food places

I don't understand why people go out to eat if they no everything about the food they should stay at home and cook it themselves. I have grown up in the food business and understand a lot when it comes to the topic, but I had to sit and get lectured by some ass that the meet was not Filet and it was something else, really? some jackass knows more than the people who work and prep and cook the food they eat. 

I just don't understand why people do that, now if that guy is a chef i understand but your wearing scrubs and your a male nurse. So why are you giving me a lesson on what Filet is ?

Technology Overload

We keep hearing how technology is running our lives and is soon gonna take over, why do people always bitch and complain about this when this is what needs to be done to be dominate in this world, without technology we would be useless and stupid. Technology helps the human rase do things they could never imagine in the past and helps save many people's lives all over the world.

Thats One side of the story, Some people have a good reason not to like technology, some big companies that use technology have let so many hard working americans go because their work is no longer needed because that machine does it better and faster then a person could ever.

This is an argument that can always go both ways, technology has gotten me out of trouble and saved me many times so i am a fan of using it, we are lucky enough to live in a place where we have the technology, why hate? I have an iphone and it is my savior, have a question, look it up, need directions, use the built in gps, the opportunities are endless and I love technology even though I believe it does make people a little stupid.

Give a young new driver a GPS and he will never learn his way around because he will always count on his technology, if people can look up the answer to anything why should they even have to think about stuff?

This argument goes both ways and i stand in the middle because I LOVE MY IPHONE!!!!!!!

Mother nature, Make the snow STOP!!!

When we were all young we would wish for it to snow so we could all get off from school and go play with friends, things change when you get older.

The snow is pointless unless your an animal in the North or South Pole and you need the snow to survive, other than that, there is no use. Rain waters plants which give humans oxygen so that is all ok. But snow, all it does is ruin the roads so we cant drive to where we need to be. Also is kills small businesses that need people coming in every day to keep afloat. I know 3 businesses that have closed due to the 4 days of crazy snow, not only does it piss people off and make then get in car accidents, it ruins people's business and possible future. Sounds a little harsh but i have seen it first hand. 

All we need is some sun to melt all the snow so we can all get back to business and do what we have to do without worrying about the next storm. Snow is pointless and we should move to Florida ASAP

College vs Money

Is college really looking after the students or is it more about the money? Well thats a question that cant be answered because it is a system that will never change. 

Now we all know that for the average student who attends college he or she is there for about 4 years, the question brought to my attention s that, the first two years just seem like an opportunity for the college to make money, and thats it. Everyone understands that the last two years are the years where you actually start learning things that will teach you about your major, correct? So it bothers me that i need to give this place and extra two years tuition just to refresh the memories of what we have learned in high school. That extra 2 years tuition could be up to 50 grand at some schools. Its a joke when we can be done in two years if we just jump right in to the major, that is why we go to college, to become specialist in a particular field. 

So is it more about the government making money, or about the education? 

Don't get me wrong, most of us love to waste two years and 40 grand to just get the general education classes done, gym, art, and yoga class is totally worth the money.  Doesn't make sense because we could actually just jump right into the major and get the the working world ASAP. 

This would help more americans and would make kids less stressed about college and more will attend. 

Should 21 be the Drinking Age?

This is a question that most young adults ask themselves at least once every weekend, why, why do you have to be 21 years old to drink a beer?

This is one subject that I strongly disagree on, I am a college student and am not of age to consume alcohol, in this country. I enjoy traveling to see my family over seas and spending most of my summers in Greece. There kids are going out to clubs and bars/ Kafe's since they were 15 years old, that sounds bad to most Americans because," Drinking is bad." at least thats what they tell us here in the States. But I can give honest criticism about this subject because I grew up there and most of my life here.

What happens when you tell most teens not do touch this or go there or do that? Most of the time they get curious and try those things that you tell them not too. The teens in Greece have been aloud to drink freely for years which has made them much more casual about it because it is no longer a big deal or in demand as much, sure the first couple time they will go get trashed but then its just like going out with buddies grabbing a beer and chillen. This is what separates myself from most kids here that I party with, we will all go have fun and go drink but I will just relax and mingle and the kids  who grew up here are chugging beers and just getting drunk because this is there one open opportunity to drink. But what happens when alcohol is aloud to be consumed on the regular and kids can have endless opportunities?

When a teen is alound to drink all the time, they don't care about getting drunk every time they drink because it is not something they you need to be sneaky and find. The one major thing I notice when I go out in Greece, you can sit back and watch the bar and right away notice who is from America because there not up walking around and mingling or just talking , they are pounding drinks and being loud. Why is that?

The answer is simple, when something like that is not in demand, kids don't abuse it. I have seen this many times over many years with my own eyes.
